      <description>"The Christmas Card is a tender holiday family film about a soldier (John Newton) who falls in love with a northern california girl (Alice Evans) who has sent him a lovely Christmas card while he is on duty in Afghanistan. When he takes leave and comes to town (Nevada City) and meets her, she falls in love with him too. The problem is she is engaged to marry someone else! Starring Ed Asner who was nominated for an Emmy for his role in this lovely holiday classic. Glorinda Marie play 'Molly' the sassy diner waitress in "The Christmas Card".&#xD;
Air on the Hallmark channel December 7, 25 and 30th. &#xD;
